Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy

The Aromatherapy Trade Council (ATC) is committed to promoting equality, valuing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment in all its activities and decisions.

1. ATC does not tolerate discrimination, harassment or victimisation on any grounds, including (but not limited to) age, disability, neurodivergence, sex, gender identity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity.
2. ATC aims to ensure that membership, services, communications, events and opportunities are accessible and are provided fairly and respectfully to all current and prospective members, stakeholders and collaborators.
3. ATC expects its directors, staff, contractors and volunteers to treat others with dignity and respect, and to take reasonable steps to accommodate individual needs where practicable, including appropriate adjustments for disabled and neurodivergent people.
4. ATC will consider equality, diversity and inclusion implications when developing policies, guidance and member services, and will review this policy from time to time to reflect good practice and legal requirements.
