The ATC and its members have a responsibility for and are committed to the care and protection of our environment beyond all legal and regulatory requirements.
Our members are fully committed to improving environmental performance across all business activities and will encourage business partners of the wider community to join and support us in this effort.
Responsibly sourced, fair-trade products are used wherever possible.
Our members use environmentally sound packaging for products wherever possible. Product labelling exceeds industry standards, including beneficial ingredients, allergens, sensitivity and contra-indication information.
We and our members will strive to:
- Adopt the highest environmental standards in all areas of operation, meeting and exceeding all relevant legislative requirements
- Assist in developing solutions to environmental problems
- Publicise our environmental position
- Purchase sustainable products wherever feasible
- Reduce and reuse paper and packaging where possible in the office and warehouse
- Apply to use recyclable material for packaging design on products where possible
